Canon has scooped a major Crufts-style prize at an important award ceremony celebrating the best of the office equipment world.
The Canon imagePRESS C6000 digital press received the best of show award in the process colour digital printing equipment category at this year's third annual On Demand Best of Show Awards in New York.
Awarded by market research and information company InfoTrends, the prize honours the imagePRESS C6000 for its level of quality, speed and versatility.
The office products are 40 per cent faster at producing high-quality documents that its predecessors, also made by Canon.
Tod Pike, senior vice-president of imaging systems at Canon, said: "We are proud to see the introduction of the imagePRESS C6000 already earning such prestigious industry recognition.
"The production printing space is a highly competitive field, but it's enjoyable when your products hit a home run the first time at bat."
Last month, Canon announced it will work with technology firm eCopy to install document imaging software on a range of office machines previously made by the company, including the Canon ScanFront 220e network scanners. At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
