Canon office machines scoop accolades

Two of Canon's office machines have been recognised by an independent authority on office equipment for document imaging.

Better Buys for Businesses bestowed Editor's Choice Awards on Canon's digital press office machine imagePRESS C7000VP, as well as the Laser Class 830i/810 models with facsimile-based multifunction.

Stephen Hannaford, editor-in-chief of Better Buys for Business, said the Canon imagePRESS C7000VP is an office machine to consider if a business prioritises colour printing.

He added that the office machine was an "important advance" in colour printing.

Mr Hannaford also praised the Canon Laser Class office machines.

"With little to find fault with and greater functionality, the Laser Class 830i/810 models are a couple of the better ones in the high-volume fax market," he concluded.

According to Better Buys for Business, its Editor's Choice Award is the office equipment industry's "most coveted distinction".

It selects winners through the input of editors and a team of office equipment researchers.
