US office furniture outlet makes charitable gesture

By Paperstone on May 24, 2007 in Office Furniture

Office Liquidators, Colorado’s largest supplier of new, used and refurbished office furniture has revealed it is donating office furniture to 650 charities in the area.

As a former teacher, the company’s founder and chief executive Dennis Meyer understands the financial constraints that educational institutions have.

He has already donated thousands of dollars worth of office furniture to schools and charities over the years.

The firm will also be offering exclusive discounts for not-for-profit organisations which need to obtain office furniture.

Mr Meyer’s company is set to hand over a free two-drawer filing cabinet to every registered not-for-profit organisation in the area.

"Non-profits are essential to helping those in need and raising community awareness, yet often operate on a limited budget, so we wanted to lend a hand with a donation of office furniture," said Mr Meyer.

"Office Liquidators already has a non-profit customer base of over 250 Colorado schools, hospitals, churches and charitable organisations."

Colorado is a state in the rocky mountain region of the USA, with an estimated population of around 4.7 million people.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office furniture.
