Philips launches giraffe-like laptop

By Paperstone on April 26, 2007 in Office Supplies

Electronics specialist Philips has launched a peculiar long-necked laptop, the powerful and stylish X200.

Office staff in Britain that often find themselves working away from their desks will be intrigued by this innovative new product, which couples breakthrough mobile capabilities with a bizarre giraffe-neck design.

The X200 is a space saving device that features an extendable widescreen display, meaning the screen can be manoeuvred competently in confined spaces.

It also features Windows Vista Home Premium software, Intel Centrino Duo Mobile technology, 1024MB RAM, a huge 100GB hard drive, a 12.1-inch display and DVD re-writer.

There is also a 1.3MP built-in webcam on the machine, for any business people desperate to see who they are actually dealing with.

And perhaps the most startling thing of all about the super cool X200 is the price, a mere £850 in the UK.

Royal Philips Electronics is one of the world’s largest electronics companies in the world and has its headquarters in the Netherlands.

The company employs 125,500 people worldwide and its revenue was £30 billion in 2005.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office supplies.
