New Brother printer ‘delivers on claims’

By Paperstone on September 4, 2007 in Office Machines & Supplies

Brother’s new multi-function colour laser printers, such as the DCP-9040CN, help expand its range of office machines, it has been suggested.

The new device, reviewed by website Trusted Reviews, is able to provide both local and network printing, as well as serving as a colour photocopier.

According to the review, the office equipment manufacturer has designed these latest office machines "to blend the lines" between printers and scanners. Instead of having a scanner "stuck on top" of a printer, the two office machines are combined, with printed pages able to be retrieved from under the scanner.

Other features of the device include a 50-sheet auto document feeder, a control panel with a backlit LCD display, a four-way button for menu control and buttons which allow users to specify colour or stop running a job.

A few different Paper-loading options are available. Black toner is available in 2,500 and 5,000-sheet printer cartridges, while colour comes in 1,500 and 4,000-sheet printer cartridges, the site explains.

The review concludes: "The Brother DCP-9040CN is a well-designed colour laser, multifunction machine which does pretty much what the company claims."

Brother office machines and products are sold in more than 100 countries.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office machines.
