HTC has unveiled its new mobile Vista enabled laptop computer at the Florida Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association show.

If your lap moonlights as your office desk for any considerable amount of time per week then this mini laptop might be for you.

The new HTC -Shift places itself somewhere between a PDA and a regular notebook and features Window Vista business edition.

As it is a small mobile device it comes with a seven-inch widescreen, as well as touch display and a 30GB hard drive.

But the Shift also features superb connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G.

The Shift is released along with a smaller Advantage unit and HTC chief executive Peter Chou, said: "The introduction of the HTC Shift and Advantage continue HTC’s long history of innovative, precedent setting devices.

"These new devices bridge the gap between being mobile and being in the office, giving customers new choices for how they work, communicate and live."

Bill Mitchell, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Platforms Division, said it was exciting to see HTC bring their innovative experience expertise into the realm of mobile computers.

If you’re just as happy using the office technology you already have, at Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of computer accessories.
