HP has won an imaging industry award relating to the inks used in a line of its printer cartridges, the company has announced.

The office supplies company won the Best Indoor Inks of the Year gong for its Vivera Inks with HP 91 ink cartridge at the European Digital Press Association (EDP) awards.

This award for printer cartridges was just one of seven honours picked up by HP at the ceremony.

A nod for Best Wide Format Printer of the Year was given to the printer supplies company’s Designjet Z6100, while its Scitex FB6700 won Best Industrial Printing Solutions.

Bill DeLacy, senior vice president and general manger at HP‘s imaging and printing group, EMEA, said that the awards demonstrate that the company’s printer supplies meet the demands of customers.

"HP is focused on leveraging our printing leadership to continue providing customers with an innovative and wide-ranging portfolio that meets their needs," he remarked.

"Because we understand the needs of this specialised market, our products give our customers quality and competitive advantage."

The firm has created a graphic arts business unit to further these aims, he added.

Each year, the EDP awards acknowledge products across the digital photography spectrum, including those related to printing, such as printer cartridges.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of printer supplies.
