HP Photosmart C5280 printers impress reviewer

The HP Photosmart C5280 all-in-one printers perform well at all of their functions without the need of a computer, a review has claimed.

Writing in the Malta Independent, Ben Borg Cardona said that the office machines provide a simple way to scan, copy and print high-quality documents.

He explains that the office equipment features simple buttons and easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions on its screen.

The built-in card reader – which accepts Compact Flash, Multimedia Card, Secure Digital, Mini Secure Digital, Memory stick Duo and xD-Picture Card – means that the printers can connect easily to a camera and print photos without the aid of a computer.

"I certainly was impressed. I have used a variety of home printers in my time which all claim to be lab-quality photo printers and this one really stood out – the prints were sharp, with very little colour bleed between contrasting tones," the reviewer states.

He adds that connecting the office machines to a computer is also easy and tips for enhancing printing quality are offered during set-up.

The HP Photosmart "does it all and does it well," Mr Cardona concludes.
