Group to discuss inkjet cartridges

Inkjet printers and printer cartridges are some of the topics which will be discussed by a group of office machines experts at a conference early next year.

From February 26th to 28th, a panel of speakers will meet on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina to discuss issues in the world of printer cartridges and inkjet printing, the Recycler reports.

The Tiara Group is organising the event, which will seek to examine topics such as eco-friendly printing, new page-wide array printheads, image permanence, printing speeds, higher image resolution and how to reduce costs for consumers.

David Connett, managing director of Recycler Publishing & Events and publisher of Imaging Spectrum, said that the conference could appeal to those who deal with printer cartridges and other inkjet consumables.

"This new seminar brings together two interdependent segments of the inkjet consumables market," he remarked.

"In doing so, the Tiara Group is breaking new ground to stress the necessity of properly matching ink and media to ensure the best image quality and the longest image life."

In June, the group is organising a different seminar about office machines – the Toners and Photoreceptors 2008 conference.
