Firm to provide office equipment and space for mobile workers

By Paperstone on September 3, 2007 in Office Supplies

Office solutions company Regus is set to introduce a new concept aimed at mobile workers who need office equipment or space, it has emerged.

The scheme will see the creation of facilities that can be rented by the hour, which include many of the office supplies and support found in a traditional workplace setting, mad.co.uk reports.

Wi-Fi, hotdesk space, IT support and healthy food and drinks are part of the package, as is a live financial and news channel which is streamed into the drop-in lounge.

Mobile professionals can also enjoy access to a local business address and a professional telephone, fax and mail-handling service.

Another unique element of the working environment consists of office furniture located in an enclosed space dubbed a "thinkpod", which gives workers more privacy and a quieter atmosphere.

London Bridge will be the first location for this new idea in office products and business space.

The charge for renting the use of the facilities is £19.99 for an hour in London, which will drop to £9.99 for upcoming spaces outside of the capital.

In other news about office product trends, Bisley recently claimed that customers have been looking for eco-friendly office furniture.

At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office equipment.
