A Cambridgeshire village is aiming to get locals interested in something new when it holds a free learning day this Saturday.

Residents in Ramsey, Huntingdon will be able to pick up tips on photography, printing and laminating, as well as being given in-depth computer skills and first aid training.

Organised by Ramsey Learning Community (RLC), it is hoped to the event will be a fun and exciting day out for all the family and will inspire ideas in local residents.

To that end, RLC has said that it is hoping to have four resource boxes available for distribution to local community projects within the coming months.

Each of these boxes is set to contain computers, printers, laminators, guillotines and digital cameras that people will be able to use for their own projects.

Elsewhere on the day, there’ll be fun and games for children coupled with prizes and competitions, including a free balloon race with a prize for the one found furthest away.

At Paperstone, we can supply you with laminators (see more), guillotines and other office machines for your own projects.
