Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has teamed up with Scottish indie-rock outfit Travis to help it launch its new N76 mobile handset.
The snazzy, clamshell design features a flat keyboard, with a small foot at the bottom of the base and external multimedia controls on the front of the device.
Office staff looking for an upgrade on their company mobile will be impressed with the N76's range of functions and applications, including a two megapixel camera, microSD expandable memory, FM radio and quad-band GSM with 3G.
The slick handset, which mimics Motorola's RAZR style, also offers the Symbian S60 operating system.
And indie-rock fans that like what they see will be pleased to know that SONY BMG have included five Travis tracks as part of the deal for anyone looking to buy the phone.
Tapio Hedman, senior vice-president for multimedia at Nokia, said: "We're very excited about being able to offer music from Travis, a genuinely thought provoking and inspirational band, for mobile enjoyment with the Nokia N76.
"This compelling offer confirms the commitment Nokia N series has to music and developing devices that match the lifestyles of consumers." Marcel Engh, vice president for brand entertainment at SONY BMG Europe, added that Travis's artist identity and target audience fitted perfectly with the Nokia brand image and N76 product.
