New Epson printers on the market

Printer supplies Epson, which manufactures a range of office equipment, has recently released three new printers.

The R280, RX595 and RX680 models are set to go on the market in September and have many features which could appeal to users of office machines.

All of the printers feature six-colour inks, borderless printing and print speed of up to 40 pages per minute.

In addition, they can print on either CDs or DVDs and support resolutions up to 5,760 x 1,440 optimised dots per inch.

The office machines are able to connect to a PC or Macintosh computer using a USB cable or a Bluetooth wireless adapter.

Claria inks are utilised in the new printers, which the company claims will produce smudge-free prints which can last up to 200 years if placed in an acid-free album.

Consumers with a green conscience may be interested in the printers' six separate inks, which mean that printer cartridges need only be replaced on an individual basis.

Recently, the office supplies company announced that it was introducing the world's fastest inkjet printer, the Epson Sylus C120.

The firm claimed that it was "up to twice as fast as some competitive models".
