Konica looks to save offices money
17/01/2007 17:07
Konica Minolta has unveiled a new range of printer supplies that can be used to save offices up and down the country money.
According to the firm, its new magicolor 5500 range is able to differentiate between printing text and images, meaning that offices can use the printer's economy setting when printing large business documents to reduce their use of printer cartridges.
This will have the knock-on effect of reducing the amount of printer cartridges being recycled by businesses, with Konica Minolta claiming that this will save masses of money.
Frank Akihary, general manager sales and marketing at Konica Minolta, said: "With its groundbreaking innovations, the magicolor 5500 series goes beyond the limits by delivering customers superior quality and performance whilst contributing to a lower total cost of ownership."
The magicolor 5500 range can produce 35 monochrome pages per minute, with colour documents being churned out at a speed of 30 pages per minute.
Offices can even acquire a magicolor 5500 printer with an optional automatic stapler which will staple and sort documents neatly after the printing has been completed.
Konica Minolta has added that consumers can save even more money by using Simitri HD polymerised toner, which is designed to be highly durable in the office environment.
At Paperstone, we offer a wide selection of printer supplies for a range of makes and models.
