Epson 'matches people to office machines'
30/10/2007 12:28
Office equipment manufacturer Epson has announced that it is launching a website which helps match people's personalities with different office machines.
The firm explained that an individual's "creativity and printing needs" could be aligned with specific office products, thus ensuring that they were benefiting from the most appropriate office equipment.
Dubbed Epsonality, the fresh approach to marketing is centred on an interactive website, which includes a quiz to determine a person's "printing persona".
Customers can then choose whether they want to purchase the designated printer, choose it as a gift for someone else or add it to a wish list of office products.
"Our products target a wide variety of customers ranging from the techno-savvy to the inventive type, but all of our customers have a need to express their creativity," commented Jeffrey Marks, director of marketing and communications at Epson.
"We are inviting all of these customers to take a more active experiential role with not only the Epson brand, but also our individual products."
He added the company wants its customers "to see their printer a little differently" and choose office machines that are suitable for their needs.
Recently, Epson released a revised financial outlook for the year ending March 2008.
At Paperstone we can supply your firm with a wide selection of office equipment.
