Carling Cup cuttings used to make paper

Office supplies Grass cuttings from the Millennium Stadium pitch are to be turned into green office supplies - literally.

Having staged yesterday's exciting Carling Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea, the pitch saw plenty of action in just 90 minutes.

However, now clippings from the turf are to be turned into recycled paper by a company that is renowned for using other materials, such as Elephant dung, to make recycled office supplies.

The Exotic Paper Company stocks a range of office supplies that are created using slightly bizarre materials, including paper containing hair, recycled confetti and seeds and stationery sets produced from Elephant excrement.

Now it is to make its first batch of recycled paper using grass from the Millennium Stadium pitch, which is likely to retail for around £3.

Grass cuttings have been shipped from the Welsh capital to the Exotic Paper Company's processing plant in Chilcompton, Radstock and are now being turned into recycled paper.

At Paperstone, we stock paper and office supplies produced from more traditional materials.
