Practical products to be ‘office trend in 2007’

By Paperstone on December 4, 2006 in Office Supplies

Well-designed and practical office products will be at the heart of office supply choices over the next 12 months, according to a renowned trend researcher.

Gunnar Frank, a trend expert, has made his predictions ahead of the Paperworld exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany.

He claims that office products that lighten the workload and are simultaneously a joy to use will be big business in the world of office supplies in 2007/8.

Mr Frank has also split the trends into separate categories that relate to a different part of the work-life environment, including the joy of writing, the joy of organising and the joy of planning.

He claims that writing products will be huge in the home environment as every use of a pen is "a new occasion, always a piece of history" and that "writing is individuality".

Meanwhile in the office, organising will become big business with carefully labelled files and neatly stacked boxes taking pride of place alongside neatly kept office furniture and creating a look "just like the skyline of a modern metropolis".

Plus planning will become central to employees, with office products that offer the ability to keep track and stay on top of business appointments and every day eventualities selling like hot cakes.

Paperworld is an international Paper and office products trade show with the German exhibition set to take place between January 24th and January 28th 2007.

Gunnar Frank is a Dutch trend researcher who has been responsible for spotting trends within the office products environment at Paperworld since 1998.

At Paperstone, we offer a wide range of office products on our website.
