Lexmark office printer scoops top honours

Lexmark's office printer has been recognised for its innovation and reliability in a major industry competition.
The Lexmark X5470 All-in-One office printer has been named as an honouree in the latest International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Innovations Design and Engineering Awards. In particular, the CES judging panel praised the office machine for its unique range of features including fax capabilities and photo printing options as well as recognising the overall reliability of the Lexmark office machine and its pleasing aesthetic design.
The award is the latest in a wide range of positive feedback for the printer from office equipment industry experts as well as the world's IT media. UK-based PC Pro magazine recently awarded the office machine its top rating and stressed the favourable price tag.
Another major reviewer of office equipment, MacUser magazine described the office printer as "a dependable and versatile performer, capable of everything from decent photo output to business-level faxing".
Najib Bahous from Lexmark added: "The X5470 delivers the level of business-class performance that makes it easy for our customers to get more done and we are very pleased by the recognition that it is receiving."
Lexmark's latest office machine can offer printing speeds of up to 25 pages per minute, with printer cartridges readily available from office suppliers.
